Join us for an inspiring afternoon exploring organic food, sustainable cooking, and local food systems.
The programme includes an organic cooking demonstration led by Chef Jouni Kuru together with a local organic producer. During the session, participants will see practical cooking demonstrations and receive tips on how to create delicious dishes using organic ingredients.
The event focuses on sustainable food production, high-quality raw materials, and the importance of local food networks. The demonstration will also highlight practical ways to reduce food waste and improve resource efficiency in both professional kitchens and home cooking.

The event is part of Flavoria Innovation Festival 2026 and organized as part of the “FoRDI – Accelerating RDI in the Food Sector through New Operating Models” project, co-funded by the EU, and the “OrganicInnovations” project, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland. The Innovation Festival is carried out by Business Turku and the Nutrition and Food Research Center, University of Turku.
