The programme focuses to an academic, public-lecture style format that builds a coherent story from materials chemistry and ionic/interface phenomena, through device concepts, to system-level neuromorphic architectures and performance constraints. The programme then broadens into (i) Finland landscape talks (who is doing what, where the distinctive strengths are) and (ii) an EU/industry perspective segment to stress-test research directions against real-world requirements and European ecosystem trajectories.
The day closes with a second structured roundtable to produce a joint roadmap outline (priority research questions, enabling platforms, collaboration structures, and candidate funding routes) and to constitute a follow-up working group with nominated leads and a time-bound action plan.
