Join the UTU Career Services company visit to Art House Turku (Taiteen talo) and Turku Music Festival on Thursday 10 December at 13:00-15:00. Before the visit there is a mandatory preparation session in Zoom on Thursday 3 December at 9:45-10:00.

Art House Turku / Turun Taiteen talo Oy, established in 2022, is a venue that brings together different art forms, serving as a meeting place for both artists and visitors. It promotes and supports cultural activities, the employment and livelihoods of arts and culture professionals, and to develop the concept of Art House Turku. The company is wholly owned by the City of Turku.

Turku Music Festival was founded by the Musical Society in Turku in 1960. It has evolved into a diverse urban event with a wide range of excellent music including grand orchestral concerts, chamber music, recitals, jazz, outdoor events and children’s concerts.

 

The visit is in English and open to both international and domestic students (Finnish/Swedish speaking). Max. 15 participants/visit. The Career Services will separately confirm your participation as soon as possible after registration. We will prioritise students who have not participated in company visits before and who are studying in a visit-related field. We will also make sure that all visiting student groups consist of both international and domestic students.
