DESCRIPTION:Dear new (and newish) Doctoral Supervisor\,\nWelcome to the or
 ientation event for doctoral supervisors organised by the University of Tu
 rku Graduate School (UTUGS).  During the morning you will receive useful
  information to support you in the role of a supervisor. We will introduce
  you to UTUGS and the resources offered to you\, as well as practical tool
 s to facilitate your work as a supervisor. In addition\, we will hear expe
 rienced doctoral supervisors’ thoughts on good supervision practices. Yo
 u will also have the opportunity to network with other supervisors.\nThe e
 vent will be held in English. An option to follow the event online will be
  available for the first part of the event\, but we highly recommend parti
