Dear new (and newish) Doctoral Supervisor,

Welcome to the orientation event for doctoral supervisors organised by the University of Turku Graduate School (UTUGS). 
 
During the morning you will receive useful information to support you in the role of a supervisor. We will introduce you to UTUGS and the resources offered to you, as well as practical tools to facilitate your work as a supervisor. In addition, we will hear experienced doctoral supervisors’ thoughts on good supervision practices. You will also have the opportunity to network with other supervisors.

The event will be held in English. An option to follow the event online will be available for the first part of the event, but we highly recommend participants attend in person.

Hyvä väitöskirjaohjaaja, 

Tervetuloa Turun yliopiston tutkijakoulun (UTUGS) järjestämään uusille ja uudehkoille väitöskirjaohjaajille suunnattuun väitöskirjaohjaajien aamupäivään! 

Aamupäivän aikana esittelemme UTUGS:n toimintaa sekä Turun yliopiston tarjoamia resursseja ja käytännön työkaluja, jotka helpottavat ohjaustyötäsi. Lisäksi kuulemme kokeneiden väitöskirjaohjaajien ajatuksia hyvistä ohjauskäytännöistä. Tilaisuuden lomassa voit myös verkostoitua muiden ohjaajien kanssa.

Huomioithan, että tilaisuus järjestetään englanniksi. Ohjelman ensimmäistä osuutta voi seurata etänä, mutta kannustamme osallistujia tulemaan paikan päälle.
