 ril 2026\nWe invite everyone working at the faculty to participate in the 
 day\, to discuss how we could make the best of the four focal areas of the
  faculty! \n \nThe Faculty Research Day introduces the revised focal area
 s – Democratic digital futures\, Just and sustainable economies\, Democr
 acy and constitutionalism\, and Power and justice – as well as plans for
  their functions at the faculty. Adopting the revised focal areas at the e
 nd of 2025\, the faculty decided to make their role more active in our dai
 ly practices\, in research but also beyond. The aim of the day is to help 
 researchers connect with the focal areas\, envision future co-operation wi
 thin and outside the faculty\, and collect fresh ideas for activities and 
 forms of support to advance research. The use of focal areas in teaching w
 ill also be discussed.\n \nThe Research Day takes place at the University
  of Turku main building on 20 April 2026\, starting at 10.30. The day ends
  with a Faculty Party in Calonia lobby\, starting at 16\, where we will wr
 ap up the results of the day. Drinks and food will be served. The whole da
 y\, but especially the party\, is for all – welcome!\n \nPlease registe
